Our History
For more than 70 years, this property was home to the farm of Alfred und Irmgard Weißenborn, our family’s parents and grandparents. For many decades, life here was shaped by farming and a close connection to nature. Pigs, cows, and chickens roamed the meadows surrounding the farm, while the garden was filled with fruit trees and the family grew their own vegetables. The farm was a place brimming with life, work, and family memories—a home that has brought generations together.
Over time, a desire arose to preserve this special place and its history while also giving it a fresh new look. The tranquility of the landscape and the beauty of the surroundings were to be preserved, while modern and stylish apartments were created where guests could relax and enjoy nature.
In the year 2025 through the Weißenborn family’s old barn and farmhouse Werner und Janice Weißenborn reimagined and adapted to today’s Ferienresort Weidelbach Today, this place blends memories of the past with modern hospitality—so that our guests, too, can experience special moments surrounded by nature.
